Guest guest
Darby: When I was a kid I had horrible leg cramps at night. This makes me mad to think about now because my parents and siblings didn't believe me at the time (It was an all over ache, hard to limp correctly to show the discomfort). I was diagnosed with neuropathy as a teenager (about 17) but didn't discover until my twenties that the leg cramps were probably an early sign of CMT. I have Type 2, unknown subtype. At one point as a child I was very quick and athletic but my running speeed declined quickly in a periof of about four years and my ankles became noticeably weaker; this was after several years of those " leg cramps " . Fortunately, I rarely have leg cramps any more. Hope this helps. Peace, Marti
