Guest guest
Hi all, Some time back we discussed kids who use music as a way to cope with anxiety. I mentioned this to my daughter's therapist, who said the coping mechanism itself is not a concern, unless it becomes a rigid, inflexible way of coping that is disrupting family life. In other words, obsessive! ) Imagine if we as adults had only one way of coping with stress, rather than the whole repertoire of coping skills that a healthy person can draw on. So, on with building andra's repertoire! Variety is the spice of life! Take care, Lesli (S.F. Bay)
