Good catch Fran,I bet that Debbie meant to include, "then quickly flip the switch to high" but missed that in the copying of the recipe. The fan to cool the motor of the 5200 machine does not kick on until the machine is on high - this is why it is possible to trip the thermal heat sensor if you try to mix thick recipes on any of the variable speeds…

I'm pretty sure that after hitting Variable 10 you would need to switch to high. I don't see that in the directions and don't want any of the new owners to miss out on their delicious frozen treats!

you are so welcome :)1 cup of vanilla yogurt ( I only had plain)

1 pound of frozen strawberries ( I used frozen mangos and handful of blueberrys)

For best results allow frozen fruit to thaw at room temp for 10 minutes before

blending

Place ingred in Vitamix in order listed and secure lid

Select Variable 1

Switch to Start and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, using tamper to press

ingred into the blades

In about 30-60 secondes, the sound of the motor will change and four mounds should

form

Stop machine. Do not over mix or melting will occur. Serve immediately.
