I think I asked this question before but I can't seem to find the answer in the

archives.

I have been sprouting sunflower seeds and have been dehydrating them in the

excalibur. They seem to make a huge mess and fall through the meshing that they

provided.

I think LeaAnn suggested that I get Paraflexx Non Stick sheets. When I called

them this afternoon they said that it would not dry out the nuts because it has

no circulation and they recommended a milk bag.

I wish I could find the email that I sent out requesting suggestions but I can't

seem to locate it.

Any thoughts on what I should purchase for an Excalibur 2500 5 drawer dehydrator

so that I am not making a big mess in my kitchen dehydrating sprouted seeds?

Thanx for all your help,

Penny

Instead of putting the mesh sheets under the seeds, put the paraflex sheets under the seeds and put the plastic mesh sheets on top of the seeds. This provides perfect air circulation and prevents the seeds from flying around! Until you purchase the parflex sheets, you can use unbleached parchment paper. ---------------------Rene Oswald, RN, APHBest Beginnings, Inc.
