Guest guest
Thanks for explaining that tidbit too me! Learned new terms and a new recipe. I am may try it with rice starch sometime. Sounds good! Thanks,My Favorite Video for My Little One! On Apr 3, 2012, at 7:23 PM, Terry Pogue wrote: , The recipe means Corn Starch is in the whipped eggs whites not Corn Meal. Corn Starch is often called Corn Flour in many parts of the world. Just spotted this while cleaning up some mail. The recipe I use is whipped egg whites, confectioners' sugar, a bit of corn starch and a bit of vinegar. The corn start and vinegar is folded into the whipped egg whites at the end. It makes a nice crisp outer shell and depending on how you bake it a softer inside. the inside texture is a matter of preference. terry On Apr 1, 2012, at 5:43 PM, hai quan wrote: > > > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavlova_(food) > Oh, then you must have a different recipe. I was unfamiliar with this dish so I looked it up. See link above. According to the article corn meal is what makes this dish unique and different than a regular meringue. Sounds yummy. As I read the article again, I also notice an ice cream by the same name that is peaches and cream...Maybe that is what you were talking about? > Thanks, > > > My Favorite Video for My Little One! > > > On Apr 1, 2012, at 3:04 PM, Terry Pogue wrote: > >> Huh?
