Pavlova clarified /was Ice cream ideas

, The recipe means Corn Starch is in the whipped eggs whites not Corn Meal.

Corn Starch is often called Corn Flour in many parts of the world.

Just spotted this while cleaning up some mail.

The recipe I use is

whipped egg whites, confectioners' sugar, a bit of corn starch and a bit of

vinegar. The corn start and vinegar is folded into the whipped egg whites at the

end. It makes a nice crisp outer shell and depending on how you bake it a softer

inside. the inside texture is a matter of preference.

I looked it up. See link above. According to the article corn meal is what

makes this dish unique and different than a regular meringue. Sounds yummy. As

I read the article again, I also notice an ice cream by the same name that is

peaches and cream...Maybe that is what you were talking about?
