Guest guest
Hi Jo-Dee, Glad your breast lumps appear to be no problem. Feels better to get that second opinion, right? Were you just diagnosed in February? You mentioned a " basline " for BCR-ABL drawn then. Was that a regular blood test or a PCR marrow test or peripheral blood? If it's just a regular blood draw you should be able to get your results within a half hour or so. If, however, it is a PCR test (which I suspect) then it can take up to 2 weeks. Just making sure that you're getting regular blood draws if you've just been diagnosed. Please clarify. Cheers, L [ ] Lumps Good afternoon everyone! I got some really good news this week!! In case you missed it, I have a lump in each breast. My OB-GYN said everything was fine and we would follow up in six months. I went for a second opinion on Monday afternoon and that specialist says all is well also. He is scheduling an MRI for June 5th to be totally sure and to put my mind at ease. He will continue to follow up with me!! I had my blood drawn today for my BCL-ABL (?) test. I had a base line taken in February so this will be my first indicator. It will be a couple of weeks before I get the results, so no news is good news!! " God is good all the time. All the time God is good!!!! Guest guest
Hello Jo Dee My name is and I am 26 years old I was DX 4 1/2 years ago, about 2 years ago I also got a lump on my breast, I did a MRI, a pet scan and a fine needle aspiration, Thank god they all came back be-nine. The lump finally just went away, but my doctor still advises me to a check up with her every 6 months. I hope all goes well with you. --- Jo-Dee McKibben <flyjod2007@...> wrote: > Good afternoon everyone! > > I got some really good news this week!! > > In case you missed it, I have a lump in each > breast.
