Guest guest
I was in Sam's today and I noticed that a yogurt company had was selling a frozen smoothie mix that included fruit and yogurt. It was a little pricey and then I thought if they can do that so can I. I bought a 32 oz container of plain yogurt and filled up 2 trays of cubes. My ice cube tray holds 16 cubes. The container says there are 4 one cup servings in the container so every 8 cubes will be one serving. Target had Dannon plain 32 oz yogurt on sale for $2 each so that is the one I chose for this experiment. I just took them out of the tray and put them in a freezer bag. I'll thy it out tomorrow. Guest guest
My son has used that yogurt and fruit smoothie package (from Costco) and liked it. I believe it called for a cup of milk (he used soy milk). He liked it, but I thought it quite sweet. The joy of using your VM and your own chosen ingredients (yogurt cubes and your choice of fruit) is that you can control how sweet or tart it is. Let us know how it works for you.
