AMEN!!!!!! Don't know who the reference was for, but...your message is

right on the money! CML didn't give a rip when it broke into our home,

tried to douse our spirits and ultimately claimed a beautiful, witty,

loving, caring, selfless individual that was loved by so many! When you

said... " CML has no regard for race, creed, age, national origin,

religion, sexual orientation, etc., etc., etc., It attacks the rich,

poor, tall, short, large, small, weak, strong, and anyone else in

between. CMLdoesn't discriminate. . .How Can We? ? ? " I wanted to stand

up and cheer! AND, I'm from Alabama...gasp...yep, one of those

sometimes lumped into that group that " fortunately for the rest of the

country....will be gone forever " ;-). I happen to be male, I happen to

live in the South, and I could care less if someone is turqoise with

yellow and pink spots! I agree; CML is certainly no respecter of

persons and is not concerned with the outer appearance, status,

strength,etc. of anyone. Who's got time for that crap?!?! THANK YOU

for stating this so powerfully!!!!!!

All this talk about race had me remembering something.

I was just thinking back to a post I made after I had

been on Gleevec for awhile and I started losing color

in my fingers and feet. It is odd to look down and

think someone else's feet are attached to your legs.

I was quite undone by the lightening of my skin( lost

the color in my lips-that might be the anemia someone

said). I wrote to the group and I'll never forget Miss

T's response. She said, " at least you started out

with some color the rest of us white people are

practically fluorescent. " I tell people I am now

luminous- so family- we share a bug and a certain

glow( some of us even in the dark it appears.)

K, My Warrior Queen- I feel very sorry for our CML

brother who allowed his fears to rob him of the love

and support that resides on this site and his

friendship with you. If he is still watching- Come on

back home, my brother- who else understands the muscle

cramps,bone pain etc. and the look of helpless in our

loved ones eyes.

CML didn't care what part of the country we lived in

etc.- why should we. By the way since they say

exposure to radiation could be the cause of CML- I

tell people it must have happened when I was abducted

by aliens- you know the beams coming off the mother

ship. Maybe I'm kidding and maybe not-lol.
