I bought mine in the late 80s - it is currently sitting in the back of the

closet.

As I get ready to bring it out and freshen it up I am looking at what to use it

for.

I see there are 'wet' and " dry " applications and containers -- would a vitamix

from the late 80s be by its nature more 'wet' than 'dry'?

Thanks in advance !!!

Wecome! Your older model is likely all stainless? If so, you can do both wet

and dry in the same container. You probably have a 3600, which is a FABULOUS

unit! I only upgraded mine last year, and still have my old one too-great unit,

as is the new one. I upgraded only because I have used my old dinosaur daily

for well over 25 years, so I thought I had earned a new one! Glad you have

joined us!
