Guest guest Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 My, my, Judy, I didn't know you were a druggie. It appears that you can have side effects years after you are on Gleevec. I remember when Gleevec was STI 571, it was touted as having no side effects. I would like to interview all those people and see if that holds true today. We do have good stats on Gleevec after 10 years, though and a lot of people are still here today because of it. So many people were intolerant to INF. I was resistant, so that means if I ever get to CCR and feel the need change drugs for one reason or another, I can always go back to Gleevec. I hope not, but I should never say never.
