Guest guest
Hi, Bobby! I am sorry that you are suffering some side effects. I, myself am walking around with water balloons that used to be feet. Just when I thought I had escaped the edema from the Gleevec. Keep up the good fight and onward to PCRU and a cure. Love, NYC > > Hi Group, well, it's been 6 days since my first infusion. Here is what I have found out about how it effected me. Aside from right after the infusion, when I threw up, I have not been sick. > I have felt nauseous, but not actually tossed. I feel nauseous after I eat, even now, 6 days later. And not after every meal, only now and then. I think that is odd, so many days later. It has also caused me to lose weight. I am not complaining about that as I am " weigh " over weight. But I am also no longer on 40 mg. Prednisone, so that would cause weight loss. All in all, I think I have felt pretty good, except I had a cold and was not up to par for about 3 days, but am over it now. The one thing I worried about was the " Big D " , but got lucky there. So, that's about it, I will be infused Thurs. morning, hope it goes better than the first one, I now have Compazine to take before infusion time.
