Guest guest
Dear Group, I was switched from gleevec because of gleevec induced hepititis. I was put on the recommended dose of 70 mg bid but that was so strong for me that Dr. said it looked like I had a transplant. So after waiting for the bone marrow to recover I was started on the lowest dose 20mg bid and have been on that for a year and a half. I am in a deep remission with that small dose. I guess I am a rarity that I responded to 20 mg. The Onocologist continues to monitor me closely because they just don't know much about sprycel. I do get a chest x-ray every 3 months to check for plurel infusion. I do have joint pain but it is tolerable, sometimes palpations of the heart and dizzyness, but then my husband says dizzyness is normal for me. Oh well I still love him. God Bless all you CML warriors Carolyn dx 11-
