Guest guest
Dear Jo-Dee and all our mothers in our group, I wish you and all the mothers out there who are juggling, CML, children and careers or just stay at home moms the happiest mother's day ever. I hope you can put aside your worries for the week end and look forward to getting a clean bill on your mamograms. Not all lumps are cancerous. I have a hundred or more lumps and they are all fibrocystic lumps. Not that they don't hurt, I can't lie on my stomach and when I have a BMA, they have to fix me up with a bed of pillows or I couldn't stand it. Just keep diligent by having them checked on a regular basis. I think that water from the Mississippi River that gets into our drinking water hs a lot to do with our problems. We call it Cancer Alley. From the little ditch where origin of the river begins on down to New Orleans and into the Gulf, we have picked up everyone's flushing toilets and farm run offs and our own chemical plants with barges stored with lethal chemicals all along the river. How many have leaked over the years and put us at risk? Why do we have so many dead zones in the Gulf, it's from the nitrates that run off from farmlands. What's in those strange names on the packages of the food we buy? Imitation flavors come from chemicals. When I studied chemistry they told us that there weren't enough natural flavors to satisfy the world's hunger and taste for them, so they found out what they were composed of and copied them in the lab (from chemicals). But do our bodies assimilate them the same? Are they excreted or still in our bodies for X number or years? Blessing and a happy holiday for mothers, Lottie
