Leukemia Society Financial Assistance Cap increased & South Metro Atlanta support group

At a Leukemia Society sponsored support group last night, we were told the

Society has just been informed yesterday, that the cap for financial

assistance has increased to $5000.

Also, is there anyone on this group in the Southern Metro Atlanta area?

They are starting a support group in Stockbridge, GA, but I'm not sure how

CML patients can relate to those receiving traditional treatment for a short

period of time compared to us having to receive treatment until cure or

death? I'm thinking about trying to find if there are any CML patients on

this side of Atlanta that want to start our own support group. If so,

please email me off the list.
