Guest guest
Dear Zavie, Thank you for the " real " story on Gleevec. It has a longer history than I thought previously. All the more to be thankful for those researchers who didn't give up on it and to Dr. Druker for coming aboard and refining it to the state we now know. I was on Gleevec for 4 years, but since I was resistant (and to everything else) it was decided to put me in the BMS trial. I know there was a scrapbook made and sent to Dr. Druker, but were there any kudos sent to the other doctors who worked with Gleevec? That was an enlightening post. You should come out from behind the shadows more often. Perhaps even a small dose will help you overcome the sleepiness that overcomes you. I found this information from Medline. It is also used to treat narcolepsy. It comes in pill form and is not coated, so you may be able to use a pill splitter to try it in smaller doses to see how you react to it. This is what I do. All the best to you, . http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/medmaster/a602016.html Blessings and peace, Lottie
