Vertigo symptoms can be a cause of glivec as stated in all information.

I also have a Menieres Disease Condition whereby vertigo is a symptom.

One of the ways to reduce vertigo is to go on a Salt Skip Program by eating low

sodium foods. This allows the fluid build-up in your ears and body not to be so

great. I do not need diurectics. It is also quite dangerous to use diurectics

if you can get a good response of lowing your fluid build-up from your diet.

Go to www.saltmatters.org for information / diet / and links.

In your case I would think that the vertigo was caused by the Wax Wash - and has

caused perhaps crystals in your ear to move causing nausea

and vertigo. This would have to be vertified by an ENT specialists. There is a

manoeuvre called the Epleys Manoeuvre done by physios that can

get the crystals out of the ear. You need to contact your GP or Haem to get a

referral to a ENT asap.

What was the reason for the Wax Wash - was it because your left ear felt full of

water. This is a classic symptom of Menieres.

However there is many variables and your ear was full it could be as simple as

you were getting a cold, or medication impacts. So it is

important to be monitored and treated very quickly.

There is nothing worse than the vertigo and nausea and it can go on for hours.

Do not drive at this time.

I take Serc medication that does not have any impact on Glivec for the

treatment.

I take Semetil for the vomiting but only at that time as it is a steroid and

under guidance from your medical team.

A group in Canada has a good Menieres information website and contact is Karin
