Happy Birthday Anita,

Today is my sister 's birthday also. She turns 52 so I gave her fresh

cut flowers and a large chocolate chip cookie. She watches her 3 grandsons so I

know there won't be any waste. I have never met anyone in the blast phase. I

hate you found out later in the game but I don't think there is ever a good

time to find out. I have been busy planting spring trees and bushes. I think

it is an act of faith to see if the plant lives or if I live long enough to see

it get big. I have to sneak to water the plants with a gallon pitcher. We are

on a odd/even water restriction so my days are Sat/Tues. from 6-10 am,pm. Have

a good weekend. Happy Birthday !

A year ago today I was released from two week stay in the hosp just being DX'd

CML blast phase and tomorrow is my birthday, at the time living another year was

not something I believed would happen. I was so weak at the time I could not

open a closed door..much less hold my granddaughter that was almost a year...I

just kept telling myself God had never given me more than I could handle and

took each day slowly.

With lots of hope for many years to come, thanks to all I have read on this

sight. Ya'll (my texas slang)have given me lots of hope. Thank you very much for

all your stories. I am trying to adjusting to my life as it is today.

Saturday I watched my daughter get married. Life has so many treasures and I

want to enjoy them all.

I also was diagnosed the week of my birthday

Amazingly how many people are diagnosed within a couple of days of celebrating a

birthday.

My birthday is 9th August and diagnosed the 6th August

Thanks for the happy birthday... you are so right a year ago seems like forever

ago... But seems to get better.. Keep on Keeping o...

I enjoy reading your post and your sence of humor is great..

Hope all is great down under..YOu know Australa is the oly place in the world I

have ever wanted to visit..You will just have to post pictures for me to see.

Thak you Christa,

I too have been busy planting a dog wood tree and an oak and of course lots of

flowers.I too have faith, I will live a long long time..

I have a granddaughter to watch grow and am waiting (patiently) on my son to

find the right woman and watch him get marrie.

I refuse to just give up I am too stubborn. Ha probably why I was in the blast

stage. I kept working not one to miss because of a cold or pneumonia.. But the

end results I had to quit..(I miss having a job have worked all my life so I

jsut keep busy and rest when needed.) And I am enjoying life, for once in my

life I have time to smell the roses and see all I was to busy to see before.

Life is truly great.

I know the lord has his reasons everything so I do my best to accept and keep

going...
