Hello all,

Since diagnosis almost 6 years ago this coming May, life has looked

different for me, as I am sure it is for all of us. My husband and I

rushed to do all the things we thought there may not be time to do...

took a trip, I planned my funeral and made arrangements for the living

will and all. Now with the discovery of all the incredible drugs, we

now have great hopes of living long lives, whether in complete remission

or not. We have hope. But the change for me has remained, in the way I

intentionally live my life. I get up thinking differently, I take the

anniversary of remission days off of work and celebrate, I realigned my

priorities and play more and work less, I apologize more easily, and

serve with contentment. And since seeing the movie " The Bucket List "

with Freeman and Jack Nicholson my husband and I made our own,

one we add to on occasion. Yesterday, I crossed off item #1 of my list:

To ride in a NASCAR at 180 MPH at Phoenix International Raceway. My

daughter and I did this together. I have posted some photos in the

album if you want to take a peek.

I would encourage you all to make your own list... there was a great

deal of fun in the adventure but also a great deal of satisfaction in

accomplishment of the task.

Call me a crazy old fat lady if you want but I am a happy one!!

Barb:Your Pictures are so cool Barb , I am a Nascar fan and would love to do

that . We don't have Nascar is Canada really . That would be on my bucket list

Vroom! Vroom! Barb! Way to go, friend!

Isn't it fun to see where " living intentionally " will take you! Keep

on keepin' on! Loved the photos! Looks like fun was had by all!
