Guest guest
Hey Sister Survivors. . . I have very sensitive skin and the red-hair (hehehe). However, I've dealt with the sun issues 5 years now. The heat, sweating, rash, redness, blotchy skin, etc., you name it. . .I have experienced it. I have not found a 'cure', if you do; please let me know. Nothing my Dermatologist has prescribed has worked, now approaching my 5th summer. . .I am again going to wear sunhats/visors. I've purchased a new sunscreen for this season, I've only used it several time and cannot 'recommend' it this early in the season, though I've had no problems. I was told after diagnosis that I needed at least a 45 SPF due to taking Gleevec daily. Last year, I purchased a 90 SPF and though I didn't tan at all. . ..I feel that it alleviated the sweating, rash redness, etc., somewhat. If you don't care about not tanning, try a higher sunblock. Hey, sister Judy. . .CONGRATS ! ! ! I've been wondering how you were after going back on our gold. . .hehehe. . .PCRU~~CONGRATS!!! I am 0.00021 per 100,000 which is FANTASTIC for me after my morbid mortality; I say THANX for being alive. I know I will never reach PCRU. . .CONGRATS to ALL who do. As always, I have ALL in my prayers. . . " K " " K " " I AIN'T FINISHED YET " !!!
