Guest guest
Dear Friends, I just thought I would share my newest blog from Planet Cancer. You guys should really consider joining. Although it was designed for people my age, there are so many wonderful people there of all ages. I hope everyone is doing well. Love, CANCER SURVIVORS I am inspired to write this blog because I have been overwhelmed by by the show of support from other Cancer Survivors since my diagnosis almost a year ago. They are the most caring, selfless, brave, determined, and genuine people that I have ever met in my whole life. If I had one positive to share about this whole scary journey it would definitely be meeting all of the beautiful people that I now have the pleasure of knowing because of my condition. It means so much because Cancer can be very lonely sometimes. You sometimes feel like you are the only person on this whole planet that feels the way you feel or knows what you are going through. I hope that my support of other survivors has meant as much to them as theirs has meant to me. It is nice to be able to share my feelings with others who understand completely without having to use so many words to describe it. We all have a different diagnosis but we have all been confronted with facing the same thing, our own mortality. All humans have to do this, at some point in their lives. I, however, never expected to confront it at 30 years old. Nor did I think that all of my prayers would center around living long enough to see my sons become men. I have faith that medical science is moving fast enough to eventually cure all of us. May we all be there to receive the cure and, at the end of the day, I couldn't have picked a better bunch of people to wait with.
