Guest guest
Thanks so much for your reply. I appreciate it. It is so comforting to talk to someone else going through it. Being only 36 I never would have dreamed of having to deal with all this. I have actually been going through it all since 29 when I had the hyst but I can't deny the symptoms anymore and my hubby deserve a wife conditioned wife. I saw the DR yesterday afternoon. He said my level was a 9 and he had never seen anyone that low. He said he would like it between 40-50. He said no wonder I'm in such pain all the time, my bones are worse then his. (he's probably early 60's). I am hoping all this will correct a lot of my problems. He said the muscle/bone pain, and fatigue that I have blaming on CML could be related to this critical deficiency as well. He put me on: --Vitamin D 50,000 units weekly times 12 weeks then 50,000 units per month thereafter --CitraCal 2-3 tablets daily --Boniva 150 mg one per month As far as the estrogen stuff goes, we talked more about it last night and I think I am gonna do: --Viville Dat 0.025mg apply new patch every 3 1/2 days (not excited about having an Estrogen patch on) --Vagi Fen insert 1 tablet daily x 14 days then 1 tablet every 3 1/2 days. The ring thing freaks me out a bit and I really don't want infections. He wants to see me back in 6 weeks were we will re-evaluate everything. My bones will take 2 years to recover and hopefully feel better. Does this all sound reasonable? Hugs and Hope- 36 CML 5/13/05 Gleevec 800mg until 8/07 Spyrcel 100 mg since 9/07 Wife and mother of 3 (12,9,7) # 907 in Zavie's Zero Club **************Planning your summer road trip?
