We are home as of this afternoon. Jimmy is doing well, walking with a cane as a

precaution, as he has not walked on his own for 13 days, also ate very little of

the salt free food at the hospital, so I know he lost weight. Today he had

takee outee and we both enjoyed it. I was also tired of the mystery food at the

cafeteria and burned out on pizzas in the Food Court. LOL. First thing he did

was get in his own bed and take a long nap without interruptions. I know they

are all necessary to check his vital signs and blood and oxygen and x-rays every

day, but still annoying. Tubes in, tubes out. I had a few runs in with the

help, but I think they quickly learned that I was not a pussy cat, even for an

old lady. Jimmy would have done the same for me. Your cards really brought him

some laughs and also support to both of us. We missed our grandson's wedding in

FL and I heard it was nice even though everyone had to take their shoes off on

the sandy beach. That must have been something. I'm anxious to see the

pictures. Their engagement announcement came out in the paper today, the day

after the wedding, putting the cart before the horse. They barely missed the

rain, so it was a lucky day.

Hopefully the worst is over and Jimmy will be around for many more years (to

take care of me). LOL. I'm just remembering I forgot to take the flowers the

doctors sent him. Win some, loose some.

Let the good times roll,

Lottie
