That is wonderful. I have been in " remission " (If that is what they call it)

for 1 1/2 yrs and I am on 400mgs of Gleevec too.

May this continue forever

Hi gang. We got Beths results on her first PCR and FISH test today.

After six months on Gleevic at 400mg./day. The Wording on her report

was " Chronic Myeloid Leukemia not detected. No BCR-ABL translocation

was detected in this sample " . Does this put her in the zero club? Her

onc. is going to do a repeat in july to make sure she stays where she

ought to be and them switch to every six months if all goes well.

So far her white counts are just a hair low at 3.5 but her absolute

Neut. is at 2.3 So it looks like we are sitting in a good spot. She

has some diarhea now and then but a little imodium helps that. Thanks

so much for the support and information you have provided. It's been a

huge load off being able to turn to this group when we thought our

world was coming to an end.
