Guest guest
Welcome Christa. I am 32 and have very similar problems you do. I wear bilateral AFOs but still walk without a cane or wheelchair. I recently have had weak hands but luckily I can still do most things. I also have hip dysplasia......I am getting old at my young age lol. Luckily I still work and have a great job. I can't imagine not working it gives me stability. Guest guest
Hi, Christa! Welcome! I, too, am from Pennsylvania - grew up in Milton but have been in the Orlando area for quite a while now. I am new to this forum myself and am learning a lot about CMT each and every day. Guest guest
Dear Christa, I hope you will have a long, loving relationship with our group. Your story was very interesting and thank you so much for introducing yourself to us. Someone in the group also said they learned about their diagnosis on their birthday. Mine was a week after my birthday. I am happy for you that you are doing so well and that you are so enthustiac about helping Dorothy get her message across to congress about the need for more funds for NCI and NIH. I hope you get over your shyness and feel comfortable enough to write again when you see a post that you can relate to. We all have CML or have a spouse or child or parent with CML and it's here that we find out more about the disease. Knowledge is power. All the best and may you have many blessings, Lottie
