Guest guest Posted May 16, 2008 Report Share Posted May 16, 2008 hi guys, its gina demase. cml-8yrs. just wanted to let you know i've tried everything for water retention, and i have found the solution for me. jay robb diet for life. its healthy, i love it, i feel great. no more water pills or bloating. i eat fruit all day, as much as i want, it will not give you diabetes or affect your glucose. papayas, mangos, grapes, bananas, you name it. i make a lot of fruit smoothies. i'll blend a banana, pineapple, strawberry with some crushed iced, a bit of cold water and stevia sugar from the health food store, yum. then for dinner i have a big chicken salad with avacado or some lean meat with carrots or green beans, its kinda like the atkins diet, but you get to eat fruit, so youre getting your carbs from the fruit, and when youre eating all the friut you want, you wont get a sweet tooth. i allow myself to eat whatever i want every saturday for 1 hour. you can stay on this plan for life or switch to every other day this plan, and every other day good carbs such as whole grains, sweet potato, baked potato, brown rice, whole grain pasta. i'm happy with it, and i feel lighter and my pants are loose, my eyes arent puffy in the morning. the fruit works for me because the more carbs i eat like pasta, etc. i tend to get more hungry or munchy. plus the saturday free day, you can treat yourself to what you want, so theres no depriving yourself. he also has great protein shakes. i just feel healthier. you can go to jayrobb.com for more info. just wanted to share with you what works for me. love you guys, gina xoxoxoxox Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
