Guest guest
Sharon, I have had chronic diarrhea all my life. It was nothing for me to go ten times a day. But OMW it was so much worse on gleevec. I would just sit there and cry and cry and beg God to take it away. I tried everything to stop it cheese, banana's, yogurt, Blackberry wine (a stranger suggested it) that worked for a little while and eating nothing but baby food worked for about a month. Now I have the exact opposite. For the last year I have had severe constipation. And again NOTHING has worked to make it easier to go. My Bowel movements are so hard (sorry to be so graphic) and large that they have ripped my colon several times and now there is scar tissue which does not stretch so even when I have soft bm's if they are very big I scream like a baby, break out in a sweat and almost pass out. It may sound silly to some, but everytime I had to go there for awhile I was scared to death I was going to have a heart attach and die on the toilet. I will not use it unless someone of my immediate family is close by. I cannot describe how bad it hurts and now I beg God to give me back the diarrhea that was painful too but at least I didnt feel like I was going to die everytime I had to go! Guest guest
, I can really relate to the B/M issues and constipation..I use magnesium oxide to help with it and I also eat a flaxmeal muffin daily.. Minute Muffin 1 egg(lg) 1/4c.ground flaxmeal 1/2 tsp.Baking Powder 1/2 tep.cinnamin 2 pkts splenda 1/8c.-1/4c.sugar free davinci syrup(any flavor Vanilla is my fav) or you could use vanilla extract as well and maybe 1 tbsp water 1-2 tbsp.cream cheese (optional) experiment to the right amount of moisture you prefere.. Mix all ingredients and place in sprayed(pam) bowl and Nuke for 1 minute. I use different things to mix it up some..I may add raisins, nuts, peanut butter,jam..very versital.Top with butter sometimes. This muffin has alot of fiber and omega 3's in it.Very healthy and good tasting also.. Also... Miralax works well for some..It is not a laxative it just allows you to go,doesn't make you go.It is ok to take daily unlike laxitives and no perscription needed.Take stool softeners also generic for colace..I take two daily and they don't cause cramping. Just some things that have worked for me..ymmv hth SharonS In , " " <katybug45@...> wrote: > > Sharon, > I have had chronic diarrhea all my life. It was nothing for me to > go ten times a day.
