Guest guest
hi, i have had heart fluttering, palpitations for about 12 years now. had all the tests done, they come and go and sometimes are pretty bad, but my doc said they are harmless, and everyone gets them, but not everyone feels them. some of us are more in tune to our bodies. its very scary when it happens. i was put on xanax and lexapro (antidepressant) and it does help, i just upped my lexapro cause i was getting them again, i just keep telling myself not to worry, they will go away and just deal with them, its from stress and the more you think about them, they more they happen. when you have them, bare down like youre having a bowel movement or cough, this helps. dont worry. its common. gina demase xoxo > > Dear Jo-Dee, > It has never happened to me, but like , it feels like it's flopping out of water like a fish. My husband's family has it and the doctor called it tachycardia. Maybe you should check in with a cardiologist for a few tests to see if this is just an isolated thing. Jimmy had it so bad once, he drove all the way home in a panic attack and another I brought him to the hospital, where his heart beat was pulse was 200. Keep us posted. > Blessings, > Lottie > >
Guest guest
> > Hello Bee and everyone- > > I have recently been having some intense feelings of my heart fluttering, which feels somewhat scary. I have been on the program for a few months, however experienced a major setback when I had a hiatal hernia without realizing it for a long time. I believe it was caused from violent vomiting when I had stomach issues back in January or Feburary. It really set me back because my digestion got totally screwed up. Last summer I did have panic attacks, including heart palpitations, which is what lead my to discover this wonderful group. So I guess it could be retracing but it seems too intense to be retracing and seems like I should be beyond that. I have to admit, I did go for a run, which I know is not advisable. The fluttering feeling started after running and has not really subsided, although it does seem to get worse after eating. Any advice? +++Hi . Yes, you could be retracing your previous panic attacks. In any case you should do deep breathing exercises when your heart races or pounds in order to switch your body over from running on its sympathetic nervous system, which is the fight/flight system: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath4.php > > Also wanted to mention my 15 month old daughter is totally over her " milk allergy! " I am keeping her on the program a little longer, but look forward to writing her success story. +++That's fabulous! In order to maintain her life-long health you should still be following most of the basic principles of this program, i.e. eliminating toxins and damaging foods, and providing all of the nutrients her body needs to maintain its health. All the best, Bee
