Australian Leukaemia Foundation DVDs

The Leukaemia Foundation proudly present a series of educational DVDs

for patients and their loved ones to view with their health

professional or Leukaemia Foundation Support Service team member.

The aim of the DVDs is to empower patients and their families by

providing accurate up-to-date information and education regarding the

diagnosis, management and treatment of leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma

and related blood disorders.

The Leukaemia Foundation is in the process of supplying each

haematology treating centre across Australia with a complementary set

of the DVD's.

Health professionals can purchase their own copies at cost price.

I actually purchased a set - so I can forward to my primary care

practioner - In Australia General Practioner - so that if any of her

patients have been newley diagnosed her clinic can look at the DVD

with the patient and discuss the information.

The CML DVD was really informative if you were newly diagnosed.

I wish though someone would put together a DVD with all the patient

helpful hints of taking drugs etc - now that would be a best seller.
