Guest guest
Dear You are right, I think this group is very non-judgemental and we really do care about each other's problems. I have a son who constantly interrupts you and I have asked him why he does that and he says it's because he will forget what he has to say if he doesn't say it right then. Maybe that is why we all interrupt people, or we loose our train of thought. I guess I am guilty of it, too. Even when I am thinking to myself, I loose my train of thought. Maybe I should start talking to myself. LOL. If you are still working, it must be frustrating and self-defeating in your environmental work place. I often wonder how people can take Gleevec and the other drugs and still work. I commend you for sticking to you job, even with all the difficulties you have to face daily. I hope business picks up soon for you. If not, you can come to South Louisiana, there are lots of jobs in sales. LOL. A diagnosis of cancer will mean your life is forever changed and we have to keep in lock step, even if it is difficult. If we can't improve our situation, we have to find ways to compensate. I saw a clinical psychologist for my chemo brain and all he said in his report was that I had cognitive difficulties, but that he detected that I was depressed. No one who knows me will say I am depressed, but I suppose at times we all get that when when we try to project what is in the future for us. I don't allow myself to dwell on it and I think I have done well considering I have never been in remission beyond CHR. Yes, I want very badly to progress to the next level, which is CCR, but if it doesn't happen, it wasn't meant to me, or I could drive myself crazy. Thank you for opening up and letting us see what your life is like, you may help others who are still working under difficult circumstances. Good luck and many sales around the corner, Lottie
