Guest guest
Dear Greg, Good of you to explain the difference in the relays and Light the Night, even though they are very important as our fund raisers, it is also important to become advocates. Some don't even have the most basic of skills when it comes to advocacy, they are new to all of this and we can't leave them behind, we need to keep them informed. There are a lot of things we can do, but we have to start somewhere. We are indebted to people who run in the relays and Light the Night and delegates like you who will be carrying the torch to bring awareness of what CML is and look at the face of cancer in an entirely different light. We need to take these causes to congress and let them know we are tired of getting less and less money for research. Some of our taxpayer money should be going for these causes, instead of these mindless pork bills, building abridge to nowhere is the one that sticks in my mind and in my craw. Some people are crusaders for the Right to Life, some Pro-choice, everyone has an axe to grind, but someone has to represent these ideas to the right committees in congress, or they will not get through committee for a vote in congress. We have to keep moving forward, or we will begin to lose our rights. We are the face of cancer, Lottie
