Guest guest
Dear Kathy, You make a very good point. I know some who do take their meds at night for the same reason as you, but some of us are in trials that we are told when to take it and when we can eat, sometimes fasting is required. I am on SKI and I was instructed to take mine at 9:00 a.m., all in one dose, no splitting. I know someone else in the same trial and she takes hers at a different time. she works, but is continually exhausted and finds she has to rest a lot, too. Perhaps in collecting their data, they want to know when is the best time, so they separate us in groups. I was less tired on Gleevec, but found that my energy level dipped to a new low on Sprycel and again on SKI. I tried to cut back some plants today and kept a lawn chair next to me, because I found I could only work 5 minutes and then rest 5 minutes. I don't try to judge myself by everyone else, because each case is different. Some are very young and some older, so our energy level is different for each one of us. Some are able to work and others have to retire on disability. Blessings, Lottie
