Guest guest
> He's very big on having friends. Doesn't know how to interact with them but > will follow along for a while Hi, Everyone...............isn't heartbreaking when they don't respond? We had the same thing happen in Pa. before we left. Like , Gareth wants so much for the boys to come to his house and play, but doesn't know what to do after that. He'll be ok for awhile and then slip off and watch his tapes. His friends usually end up playing with . S........Gareth will not wear shoes or socks in our house or anyone else's house. He does keep them on in school for the most part. If they are on the floor reading, though, they come off in a flash!!! What really gets me is the fact he will walk in the garage or outside in freezing weather and it doesn't even faze him!!! .......has tried the other psych drugs like Risperdal, etc. There's a newer one that some of the kids are on and I forgot that name. They are the ones for the aggressive behaviors. Gareth's been on Risperdal now for 3 yrs.......it was our gift from God!!! Keep laughing........you got to!!! I'd be nuts if I didn't!!! FYI......Gareth's got another label now..... GERD.....he does have that esophageal reflux disorder. His Dr. said he's probably had it for yrs. but has just gotten to the point where he can explain where the pain and discomfort is coming from. SOOOOOOOOO, now we have Raglan and Zantax to add to his meals every day. The kids takes soooooooooooooo many pills!!! Take care, Everyone. We did the propulsid thing for 3 years, then had a quiet year with no meds. It came back. Reglan is working now. So Maddie gets meds 7 times a day (Reglan 4x, zantac 2x, and synthroid 1x PLUS her 1/2 adult centrum crushed and well hidden..... You get used to it. Guest guest
went to a party like that. The other parent of an autistic child here that I know threw a party for her son. She invited some " nt " kids from the church and plus some of 's (that was the boy's name) friends from his special class. It was one of those play areas with all the padded furniture. I remember taking me by the hand and leading me to a balloon tied to a chair because he wanted it. But anyway, leave it to my son to find the one place to get in trouble. He went behind the counter and got to the cash register. Good thing he wasn't there very long, because I'm sure he would have figured out to open the thing and we'd have been in trouble. Guest guest
Dear Rhonda, Where would you suggest we party? Please don't say Benjy's. We found it was overpriced. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, but I don't think we will try again. We wanted to go to Denis the visit before. It was sold and there was a name change. We set the GPS to find it, but passed it up, looking for the old name. I had to call them on the phone to find out how to get there, since we passed the place up twice and it was then I found they had a name change. I hope you got your question about the outdated drugs settled. I never found any out of date, but I understand several did get some. I hope you rattled someone cage about that. My next appointment is July 5, but you said you might be on vacation???? Well, one of these days. Blessings, Lottie
