If it wasn't for this list (and others) I would not be here today. Through the lists I was able to find out where the clinical trials were taking place and was fortunate enough to get into a clinical trial (#113) in 2001 with Dr. Druker and Dr. Mauro at OHSU. The rest is history. Today I see my life devoted to helping CML patients in any way that I can just like those selfless patients did for me and others in the early days of STI571.
