Choline is a small molecule, which makes up part of phosphatidylcholine

(lecithin). Choline is also part of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. It

will be the same as the choline in choline bitartrate.

It is an amine, which means that it is basic and has to be paired with an

acid (in this case citric acid) to be neutral pH. (Since citric acid has 3

acid groups, it will actually bind to 3 choline molecules.) The " dihydrate "

means that in the crystal form there are two water molecules bound to each

citrate-cholineX3 group. This won't have any effect on it after it is

dissolved, but does alter how much is needed to give a certain strength.

10% choline citrate dihydrate means 10g of crystal dissolved in 100 mL of

water. Taking 5mL of this solution corresponds to taking 500mg of choline

citrate dihydrate, or 466mg choline citrate. That is the same amount of

choline as 660 mg of choline bitartrate.

By 'aqua chlorof' I would guess that they mean the water from a 2-phase

chloroform-water mixture. Because the water and chloroform are not soluble

in each other, they will form 2 phases, one mostly water (with a trace of

chloroform) and the other chloroform (with a trace of water). My guess is

that the trace of chloroform acts as a preservative.

Hey Bobby & a. . .

I am very glad that there are Trials available for my Sister & Brother

survival. . .that's another reason I write my WNL~`Welcome Newbie Letter' and

try to keep it current. I am ecstatic though that I Do Not have to have any more

BMB/BMA (hehehe). The 1 that I had for diagnosis was done by a H/O who had never

done the procedure prior to undertaking it with me. He made the appointment for

11 a.m., and showed up a lil after 4 p.m. I believe he used that time to access

the Internet, contact other H/O Doctors and Medical Library etc for Information

on performing a BMB. During the procedure it felt like he was pulling something

from inside my big toe of my left foot and the pain that I had hours later. . .I

had to call my daughter and have her bring me an additional pain pill. This was

the boy~~H/O that I had to fire, because he would admit me to the hospital and

tell me 'I am not giving you narcotics, your CML doesn't cause your pain'. The

final straw that broke the camel's

back was an admission during which I saw the PM Doctor for the hospital's Pain

Management Clinic and this Physician made a recommendation and the boy still

refused to give me the medications that I was taking. . .or the PM Doctors

recommendation.

Now, not only are Survivors being given pain medication; the doctors realize

that our bug does cause bone pain for otherwise healthy individuals. . .I, have

numerous Chronic Orthopedic Diseases and elevated pain from our bug. Sorry about

the babbling. . .

Take care, I have ALL in my prayers. . . " K "

" K "

" I AIN'T FINISHED YET " !!!
