Guest guest
Dear Lottie, Thanks so much for taking the time to update us. I'm so happy to hear that Jimmy made it through surgery. Neither of you should be surprised though that so many of us are thinking and praying for him. You are part of our CML family which makes him part of our family due to his " guilt by association " I can only imagine how exhausted you must be so I hope you get some rest. Thoughts and prayers are still going out to you both, Tracey > > Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone - for your love and prayers. Jimmy went through the surgery, not without problems, but I saw him in critical care, out like a light. Everything if functioning properly, the nurse explained everything that is going on, there is no lack of information. I have come home to get a few hours sleep and tomorrow the visiting hours will be in short spurts, so everyone can get in by 3's. Jimmy will be humbled by the attention that he has drawn, since hardly anyone really knows him. His sense of humor was still in tact, when the doctor came to tell us that he would begin the surgery about noon, he asked what happened to the other guy that was ahead of him. > > For your posts and phone calls, they are deeply appreciated and Jimmy will really be surprised to see all of the posts wishing him well. He takes such good care of me, now it's my turn to take care of him; he will be dependent on me for everything. If he doesn't follow instructions, he will be in deep doo doo, so my job will be to watch him and to remind him of what the doctors told him would happen if he didn't follow instructions. > > Unfortunately they were not able to do the 3rd by-pass because of a complication, and the doctor said we could worry about that at another time. Will post more later. > > Blessings to give and receive, > Lottie > >

Guest guest
Dear Lottie, God bless you, Lottie. You have been so warm and caring to me since I was diagnosed. I hope Jimmy recovers from his surgery quickly and safely. This is just one of those bumps in the road that you always warn about. Please stay positive and enjoy your time with your family. Guest guest
Lottie-- Bless you both--you're still in my prayers and those of my church family--we are pulling for you and Jimmy. Glad to hear Jimmy's sense of humor is still there--it can bring you through those hard times so much easier if you can laugh together. Take care and here's a big hug from me! These bypass surgeries will give Jimmy a new lease on life! I bet he will feel better than he has in years! Even without the third bypass. Big Hugs and wishes for good health and blessings, Vicki > > Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone - for your love and prayers.
