Guest guest
Wow what an experience! It doesn't sound like this drug is something anyone could do for 40 years! I hope you feel better soon and get to enjoying your peanut butter again soon!!!!! Happy friday, Rhonda Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry [ ] Insuion # 2 HI FOLKS, WELL, THE INFUSION WENT WELL, TOOK FOREVER AS DR. T ORDERED ANOTHER ONE, NOT THE DRUG, JUST FLUIDS, TOOK ANOTHER 1 1/2 HOURS !! MY LABS WERE ALL MUCH LOWER: WBC - 2.4; HGB - 9.4;RBC - 2.91, AND PLT - 157. MY TONGUE IS BACK TO NUMB. THE WORST THING , AND I THINK IT IS DUE TO THE DRUG IS THE PAIN IN MY LEGS. NORMALLY I CANNOT WALK FAR, THE LEGS HURT. TWO YEARS AGO I HAD AN ANGIOPLASTY IN THE RIGHT UPPER LEG, AND A STINT (OR IS THAT STENT?) PUT IN THE RIGHT LOWER LEG. IT SEEMED TO HELP, BUT ONLY AS LONG AS I WALK A BIT, OR PEDAL AN EXERCISE BIKE. WHICH I HAVE NOT BEEN DOING. THE LEFT UPPER LEG IS WORSE THAN THE RIGHT ONE WAS. SO WHEN THE LEGS HURT SO BAD I COULD NOT WALK ANOTHER STEP, I ASSUMED IT WAS THE POOR CIRCULATION. BUT TODAY I AM THINKING THE PAIN IS NOT QUITE THE SAME, AND PERHAPS THIS IS MUSCULAR? ALSO , TODAY, I AM WOBBLY ON MY LEGS, AND DON'T TRUST THEM. I REALLY DON'T NEED A BROKEN HIP OR A BROKEN LEG FROM FALLING DOWN. I AM GOING TO GET A WALKER WITH A SEAT ON IT, DUAL PURPOSE. BACK TO THE NUMB TONGUE. NOT BEING ABLE TO TASTE ALTOGETHER WOULD NOT BE TOO BAD. BUT I CAN TASTE SOME OF WHAT I EAT, ONLY PROBLEM IS, AS I TOLD MY BUDDIES LEN AND ERNIE PASCHAL, IT TASTES LIKE CA-CA !!! EVERY THING TASTES THE SAME. VERY SALTY AND VERY CA-CA ! AS I WAS BEING INFUSED , AND FEELING VERY VERY NAUSEOUS EVEN THOUGH I TOOK A COMPAZINE, THE GAL NEXT TO ME TOLD ME SHE HAD HAD A STEM CELL TRANSPLANT, AND NO MATTER HOW SICK YOU FEEL, SHE SAID TO EAT, AND MAKE YOURSELF EAT EVEN IF YOU CAN'T. SHE SAID YOU ARE THEN LESS SICK. ANYWAY, I EMAILED DR. TALPAZ ABOUT THE LEGS AND HE GOT RIGHT BACK TO ME, THAT WAS VERY NICE OF HIM, IT WAS ABOUT 9 PM. HE SAID HE WANTED DAILY POSTS REGARDING THE LEGS AND ANYTHING ELSE. SO, WE SHALL SEE. THAT'S IT FOR NOW, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY, I AM NOT TOO KEEN ON THIS DRUG SO FAR. I AM HOPING THESE SIDE EFFECTS WILL DIMINISH. BEFORE I DO!!
