Guest guest Posted July 11, 2008 Report Share Posted July 11, 2008 hi fellow cml'er i just came out of the hospital after 3 dYS I GOT virus in my colon thtSTARTED UP A COLITIS FLAREUP AND ENDED UP DEPLETED OF all electrolites , my heartbeat was irregular, i faint, and my vission blurrrrr and i was bleeding rectaly i was a mess . i guess my first scare after ct scans, exrays an much fliuds i'm hme but i'm swollen like a baloon anyone been here? and should i take water pills> ?now i'm all confused if water pills do thet what is one to do with the gleevec blought? or drinking water should one? shouldn't one? excude my typing can't even see the board; don't mean to scare the nuebys this is part of thr game at least we have each other to help lov aliza yaffa **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com! And I know I have never felt as good as I have lately, making myself drink at least 60 oz of water a day. It seems to flush out all the toxins, and keeps my kidney functions normal. But I do get puffy feet and toes, and my doctor said then it's ok to take a water pill, always with potassium. But check with your doctor before taking them. I'm so sorry about all your problems, it seems we take one drug to keep the CML at bay, and suffer the consequences on the rest of the body.
