LOL.....I remember you telling me you resemble a vampire! Do you still have that

beautiful long black hair? Oh Terry I adore being out in the sun

but...ahem...only if there is a pool, lake or creek nearby...hehe.....I remember

two summers ago when everyone was questioning if you could actually tan while on

gleevec....well I am here to tell you YES!! That summer I had a swimming pool

and spent about two hours a day just drifting around it on a float, it felt sooo

good and gave me so much more energy and a better attitude, but it also tanned

me and when I say tan I mean dark dark dark brown! Even I thought for once I had

gotten tooo dark! My husband and his family would tease me all the time about my

ethniticity (sp?) because I get so dark in the sun.....what they did'nt know

(but I informed them) is that I have a lot of Native American in my family so

that is probably why. It is kind of odd but sometimes I tan with just extreme

heat...isnt that wierd?? Well sorry I know I am rattling! Talk to you later.

Hugs,

Katy

Katy,

Yeah I still have long black hair, but I am letting it grow out to in't

natural color which is a dark brown, maybe that will not frighten some

people as much..lol, yeah with the hair and being pale I do indeed look like

something out of an Anne Rice Novel..lol.

I cannot handle heat very long at all or I am wiped out, and I am half

Native American. I am starting to see signs on my forehead where my skin

seems to be almost being bleached white.

You were and are not rambling Katy, so don't sweat it. I am very glad you

seem to be able to tolerate heat and sunlight better than I can. Again I am

also very glad you doing better:)
