Guest guest Posted July 19, 2008 Report Share Posted July 19, 2008 Hey I am glad he is switching you to tasigna. I myself would be a little afraid of the 200 mg gleevec. I did the 300 mg or about a year but side effects were no different than on 400 mg. My oncologist always said he did not want to develop resistance so he switched me to tasigna. It has been so good. And the best part: NO side effects at all! My hope of working to retirement (8 moe years) is more real. I wish you the best of luck.
