Guest guest Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 Hi Sharon, Going from 11.10 to 6.9 is going in the right direction but it seems to me that it's less than a 2 log reduction. Usually a patient needs at least a 2 log reduction to be completely zero on a cytogenetics test (the test they do using the marrow) so I would ask for a copy of your PCR to be sure the numbers are right. PCR's can often be misleading though so I would trust the BMB cytogenetic report first. If your BMB truly is zero (no Philadelphia Chromosomes) then you're doing great and qualify for one of Zavie's Zero Club numbers.
