Guest guest
Sure I have never had blood blisters but I do get little ones once in a while. I also suffer from bone pain, fatigue, and nausea. I was dxed in April of 04, then I also added my eyes swealing shut to the list, but that has gotten better over time. They still swell, but not as bad. So people have major side effects, some minor, some in the middle, and some have none at all. So hang in there. Mine are controled by other medication so I have a decent quaility of life. But there is a very good chance that you side effects will lessen over time. Guest guest
Bone pain -- yes! It just seems to come and go apropos of nothing. Those blood blisters I have heard of but never had myself. My doc was telling me a number of his patients have had them. From: hollie@... Guest guest
First, I cannot tell you how glad I am that I found this group. When I was diagnosed in February 2008, it was during the presurgery testing they were doing so I could donate a kidney to my husband. I found out that I had CML, but because of my husband's illness, I didn't really learn as much about CML as I would have normally. Now that my husband has a new kidney courtesy of our 20 year old son, I can have time to learn about CML. I read what someone says and think yea, someone else understands! As far as side effects, I will have days that I have none. Then there are days when everything hits. I do experience nausea (especially in the morning). Some days I will have swelling especially in my hands. For the past few days, my legs have ached especially around my knees. I also bruise if someone looks at me. I have never had a blood blister though. I am tired as my red blood count is low due to the medication. I feel blessed though because at my doctor's appointment last week, the final results of my bone marrow came in - the genetic part of the testing. I am genetically in remission. I already knew that I went from 150% to .15% positve for CML but this was the icing on the cake. Blood work every 4 weeks versus every 2 weeks! Thanks for all of the support. Guest guest
My Granny has had something similar on her leg. It looks just like something has irritated her leg. If you look real close, it is little blood vessels that have bursted under the skin.
