Sure I have never had blood blisters but I do get little ones once in a

while. I also suffer from bone pain, fatigue, and nausea. I was dxed in

April of 04, then I also added my eyes swealing shut to the list, but that

has gotten better over time. They still swell, but not as bad. So people

have major side effects, some minor, some in the middle, and some have none

at all. So hang in there. Mine are controled by other medication so I have a

decent quaility of life. But there is a very good chance that you side

effects will lessen over time.

Bone pain -- yes! It just seems to come and go apropos of nothing. Those blood

blisters I have heard of but never had myself. My doc was telling me a number of

his patients have had them.

Good Afternoon Gang

Has anyone experienced flat blood blisters or blood blisters in general.

Had a rash on both forearms - just a little itchy, not much - I have

had welts previously, and shingles etc, this is a new one.

Must of scratched in sleep - this morning - all little blood blisters

- flat - and also on fingers - one arm now has little sores.

I have had blood blisters early on with CML but they were normal type

of blood blisters. Example splinter, or small blister, would get a

blood blister. These ones are flat - quite fasanating if it wasn't me

blood blisters were attached to.

not unwell

Have had a couple of weeks (5 weeks in fact) of terrible bone pain -

this time in hip sockets and Oh My God !!! cramp in the back - now I

can tell you all that was a new sensation. This you cannot get away

from and only to walk it out seems to have helped. Then as suddenly as

pain had appeared disappeared like another of lifes mysterys.

Does anyone have an experience or view

First, I cannot tell you how glad I am that I found this group. When I

was diagnosed in February 2008, it was during the presurgery testing

they were doing so I could donate a kidney to my husband. I found out

that I had CML, but because of my husband's illness, I didn't really

learn as much about CML as I would have normally. Now that my husband

has a new kidney courtesy of our 20 year old son, I can have time to

learn about CML. I read what someone says and think yea, someone else

understands!

As far as side effects, I will have days that I have none. Then there

are days when everything hits. I do experience nausea (especially in

the morning). Some days I will have swelling especially in my hands.

For the past few days, my legs have ached especially around my knees. I

also bruise if someone looks at me. I have never had a blood blister

though. I am tired as my red blood count is low due to the medication.

I feel blessed though because at my doctor's appointment last week, the

final results of my bone marrow came in - the genetic part of the

testing. I am genetically in remission. I already knew that I went

from 150% to .15% positve for CML but this was the icing on the cake.

Blood work every 4 weeks versus every 2 weeks! Thanks for all of the

support.

My Granny has had something similar on her leg. It looks just like something has

irritated her leg. If you look real close, it is little blood vessels that have

bursted under the skin.
