Guest guest
Hey All Did I read that when you go to an amusement park you can tell them you have CML and they will let you go Fastrak etc??? I could have made this up (chemo brain) That darn tiredness it is the one thing that brings me to tears I feel like I am letting the side down when I have to admit I am tired and need a nap. My house has suffered......it looks like it needs a spring clean all the time and is untidy which is totally unlike it was before dx. I got on the scales for the first time in 2 weeks and I had gained another 7lbs, that is a total of 30+ since July 07 aaaaaaaaaahhh!! Sex.....it does seem to be more of any effort these days but well worth the bother (I atribute this Welcome to Sharon, you seem to be taking this CML thing very well. What part of the US do you live? Do you have any children? A supportive partner? How old are you? Just call me nosey!!!! Donna x > > Tammy, Amusement parks are not out of the question BUT you have to build into the cost for your day a rental of an ECV, it's one of those chairs that will allow you to drive around the park. They're usually about $40/day. I acutally bought one to have for myself and now whenever we are going on a trip or to a park I have my own to take with me. It allows you to exert your energy on things that matter and not on walking all around the park. If you don't have one you won't last long at a park. Good luck! > :} > J. > > > > [ ] New fatigue question > > Is this the new normal? It sucks!!! Since DX in Aug.... I was recovering > from surgery. Then I was into marital problems, then holidays.
