Guest guest
Hi Donna, These two results aren't much different at all which means that you're very stable. I know it looks like a big increase but it really isn't and it's within the normal limits of the test. On the other hand, the results could be better so it's very likely that your doctor will switch you to another drug to get a better result. A BMA is a responsible thing to do at this point because it's the only way your doctor can really see what's going on in your marrow. If he hasn't mentioned it, I would also ask if you can have a mutations test done to see if you have a mutation that will respond better to one drug over another. Try not to worry. I know it's easier said than done but you do have options and most of our members who switched drugs found that they did well on the new drug with fewer side effects. Take care, Tracey -- In , donnaberry99 <no_reply@...> wrote: > > Hi Friends, > I don't post much but I read all your posts every day on my phone I > haven't just figured out how to post from my phone yet. > I need some support just got my BCR/ABL results and they were 3.2 up > from the last 1.9 I know we're not supposed to but I am freaking > out!!!!!!!
