To top it all, even when his fiancée ran out on him, he still stayed (stays) determined to achieve something for other leukaemia suffers (more publicity surrounding marrow & blood donation). Guest guest Posted July 27, 2008 Report Share Posted July 27, 2008 was diagnosed with CML and AML at the same time...first person ever I believe - he had a transplant but it failed- The meds aren`t keeping him alive, just lengthening his time by a few weeks.
