Guest guest
You betcha Lottie, I'm praying for you and hoping itis not another Katrina, Stay safe, and leave early. Many years ago we were visiting Holden Beach NC and hurrican Bob was supposed to hit right where we were. No one would leave, and they had kids, and none of them had ever been in a hurricane. My daughter and I left and drove 150 miles inland before we found a motel - and the hurrican passed us by! You and I have weathered a few of them, you'll get by in this one, good luck, love, Bobby a (Bobby) Doyle Brecksville, Ohio, USA DX 05/1995 02/2000 - Gleevec Trial/OHSU 06/2002 - Gleevec/Trisenox Trial/OHSU 06/2003 - Gleevec/Zarnestra Trial/OHSU 04/2004 - Sprycel Trial/MDACC, CCR in 10 months #840 - Zavie's Zero Club 09/2006 - out of CCR 04/29/08 - XL228 Trial/ U.of Michigan 06/02/08 - CCR ( in 4 weeks) From: Lottie Duthu <lotajam@...> Subject: [ ] Evacuate " CML " < > Date: Friday, August 29, 2008, 1:18 AM Dear Bobby, We are waiting on orders to evacuate. I don't know where we will be going. Most roads lead to the gulf and one goes to Houston, along the gulf and the other goes to MS through New Orleans, so either way we chose to go, we will travel 1 mile per minute. Just keep the prayer vigil going. xoxoxox Lottie
Guest guest
Wouldn't it be better to get on the road before it gets bog down with traffic. I too am praying all goes well. We are headed to the piney woods to make sure everthing is secure in case of tornados. Guest guest
Lottie, not to be an alarmist, i would start evacuating now when it is easier. We all know that Gustav is going to hit somewhere along the La coast. The more west it goes the better, but the stronger side is usually the western side. @...: rcd1929@...: Fri, 29 Aug 2008 06:20:35 -0700Subject: Re: [ ] Evacuate You betcha Lottie, I'm praying for you and hoping itis not another Katrina, Stay safe, and leave early. Guest guest
Lottie, Just to remind you, the last time we were all so worried, because we did not hear from you, so don't wait too long to get out of there. I keep an eye on the National Hurrican channel and it does't look good, but I guess I don't have to tell you that.
