Guest guest
Bone marrow results are in and ie's in the chronic phase, I'm so thankful for that. I've been so afraid while waiting for the results, the stress was too much. I've been having some serious panic attacks last few weeks and finally went to see my doctor for me. ie started his Gleevac on Sunday he waited a few exta days to start cause we were able to get him into the fertility clinic and have some of his sperm banked for him just in case. That was an expense I wasn't expecting but worth every dime no question. He hasn't said alot to me about the side effects yet but then again it's only been a few days. I worry he won't tell me because he always tries to protect me. He moved into dorms last Saturday and started classes at Cal yesterday. He already saw his first protest too, I told him probably first of many right, it's Berkeley, CA and an election year to boot. So far so good, his next appt is 9/24 can someone tell me what happens from here each month, what are we looking for in terms of his numbers, what tests are fun? Is there somewhere I can learn a little bit more about the testing and numbers, I'm trying to educate myself about all aspects of CML. Just wanted to share our good news, thanks everyone Sharon T (Northern CA)
