Guest guest
I am so sorry your daughter has to go through this. As a parent we would much rather it be us. We are so lucky to have CML in 2008 because there is so much help out there. With the new target drugs our chance of living a full life are tremendous. I was diagnosed 11-05 and after a rough start I am in a full remission. for a little over a year. There are ups and downs but the up times far outweigh the down times. Best of luck you and yours. Guest guest
I used to get horrible muscle cramps. What stops them is taking a Costco (cheap) cal/mag/D/zinc pill with each meal. You need vitamin D to process calcium correctly, and calcium and magnesium balance each other so you need both. You need them in amounts that are very difficult to get from food: our ancestors ate things like whole raw fish (and they still do in much of the world) which contain both iodine AND plenty of cal/mag in the bones. Also raw fish contain selenium, which balances the iodine. Guest guest
Vitamin D is important to put calcium into the bones. To put calcium into the soft tissues, you need fatty acids, or Complex F. These two, D and F, are antagonistic. Jp I used to get horrible muscle cramps. What stops them is taking a Costco (cheap) cal/mag/D/zinc pill with each meal. Guest guest
Magnesium is also critical in the calcium / bone process.
