Guest guest
Hi all, Is it possible to get a bad batch? or is it coincidence? I've taken 4 so far. I remember the first day thinking it was 'stronger' than usual. My stomach was more upset than normal. Then the second day was fairly queasy, but I blamed it on not eating something I knew for sure was going to work. Pill 3 - Um, I won't go into detail - but that one came UP. With everything in my stomach. YUCK! I didn't take one the next night - my throat still hurt from the night before. Pill 4 - I had nausea and now I have a stomach ache and diarrhea. What is going on? I haven't been having this reaction to the pills! I normally get slightly nauseated, but if I sit still for 30 mins - it goes away. Sorry to complain - I do have another bottle of pills - which I'll switch to tomorrow. I had a batch of Thyroid pills that I took back to the pharmacy because they weren't working - I was just too cranky and tired. I got a new batch and I quickly improved. Should I call Novartis? Thanks, Tammy
Guest guest
Tammy, I've had the same thing happen to me. I've been on Gleevec for over 2 years, but once in a while, my nausea seems to be worse than normal and it's usually when starting a new bottle. I think they need to check their quality control - I really think the pills batches are not 100% uniform from bottle to bottle. Guest guest
My Dr here in France told me that side effects sometimes come in cycles, for eg. sometimes I go through a couple of days with nausea & at other times it's diarrhea - in fact they come & go, I hope that this helps, Barbara In , " barbara " <barb521@...> wrote: > > Tammy, I've had the same thing happen to me.
