Guest guest
We plan our menus one month at a time and do the grocery shopping every Sunday. There are only a couple times/month when life gets in they way and we have to detour to subway. DH cooks only authorized stuff for supper then I take a portion for my lunch the next day. Breakfast are usually boiled egg whites w/fruit. Something I can eat on the go. My between meals are usually a zone bar, nuts w/fruit (no protein here, die-hards ignore), or a shake. Withou the planning and pre-cooking, I'd be lost. He leaves for the desert in May and I don't know what I'm going to do without him. I'll be up until midnight most nights trying to get stuff cooked for the next day. Debra > > Hi everyone, > I have been reading the posts lately and have decided to get back into > the BFL. Guest guest
Hi Barbara - welcome! I love this program too. The way I stay on track with my eating plan is to PLAN. At the beginning, I made a plan for each week on Sunday. Now I do 3 days or so at a time because I'm used to it. The other way to stay on track with eating for me is to constantly focus on the thoughts from the " Crossing the Abyss " section of the book. If you haven't reread that before starting, I would! I live in Chicago too. Where are you? I'm in Lincoln Park. Kathy _____ From: bac3234 [mailto:barbaracowart@...] Sent: Saturday, 29 January, 2005 8:16 AM Subject: Good morning!! My youngest son is a Marine and right now he is going to a special school (he is already in intel and has been in England for three years doing top secret stuff that he can't tell me about) anyway, he is in Florida now learning to break some sort of code and then will be heading to Iraq with the Special Forces to disrupt some of the bombings somehow.... In May. I am NOT looking forward to him going over there...BTW He is 6 ft tall and weighs in on a good day at 135... How come I don't have the same metabolism??!! If you husband isn't going there, what desert is he going to??? Pat
Guest guest
He's a First Sergeant with the AirForce. He'll be in Quatar as far as we know. He should be back the week of my birthday! > Debra, > Your husband leaving for the desert...going to Iraq??? Guest guest
Good Morning Everyone! I have been reading all the post over the past month or two but have been the incessant lurker as I typically jump on the computer for a couple minutes and then am out the door. I have a bit of breathing room this weekend with the kids being out of the house so I will have a whole day to myself to play soapmaker! So....I need to be inspired....any suggestions!! Guest guest
Hi Kirstie, I'm doing embeds for the shop I have my things in and for the upcoming craft shows. Still not allowed to go back to work after my surgery so I've been soaping. Enjoy your time... Jeanine Jeanine's Hummingbird Soap Works Good Morning!! Good Morning Everyone! Guest guest
We have Brusters Ice Cream up here in Webster too. Yummy Shaye Re: Good Morning!! Oohhh that sounds good and festive too! Maybe my new plan of attack should be to go to the new ice cream shop today and have some of the yummy Pumpkin Cheescake ice cream and ponder what I will do tomorrow! For those in the Henrietta area....you must try the Bruster's ice cream..and s too... On another thought.....my pineapple sage is in full bloom! It is so pretty. I was surprised how big it was this year and I am hoping it will be a beacon for the hummingbirds to stop for a visit during their migration. > > Hey Kirstie > > how about pumpkin soap with real pumpkin in it? > Candy cane (peppermint) soap double swirled with green and also red > Shaye >
